The Cantonese learning platform "CantoGather" visited the CKC TechCulture Innovation Centre (CKCTIC) at The Education University of Hong Kong during Feb 19 to 21, 2025 for an academic exchange. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on language education, curriculum design, and teaching material development for non-Chinese-speaking learners.

During the exchange, participants shared insights on the learning needs of non-Chinese-speaking students, their adaptation to the language environment, and innovative approaches to Cantonese teaching. Both sides agreed that providing more effective teaching resources and curriculum design is a crucial issue in the development of non-Chinese-speaking courses and teaching materials today.

CKCTIC has long been committed to promoting language education and technological and cultural development. The center actively collaborates with various institutions to foster interdisciplinary and cross-cultural exchanges. This meeting further strengthened the cooperative relationship between the two parties and laid a foundation for future curriculum and teaching material development.

CKCTIC will continue working with various sectors to support Cantonese learning among non-Chinese-speaking individuals, fostering cultural integration and linguistic diversity.
